My lifelong love of learning inspires my passion for tutoring. I enjoy the intellectual challenge of explaining difficult material or expressing concepts in multiple ways, but I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a student finally grasp a concept with which they struggled even more. At Dartmouth, I studied biological chemistry and economics. My coursework included advanced classes in chemistry and economic theory as well as empirical research in economics. I had a college professor who didn?t explain anything and just gave us problems, he did great at telling me how to enter them into the financial calculator and how to start some of the simple ones. Ended up getting 97% on my midterm! Good tutor and patient

- Matt F. from Westfield, NJ
Brian's work was fine, but how I was charged did not sit well with me. Background: he offered me the option of explaining the work and then sending it to me or meeting in person. I chose the first option, this is my fault for not inquiring how much it will be in terms of the time it would take. He did pull the wool over my eyes. I was charged for 6 hours worth of work not knowing it will be 6 hours, which is about $350. I was not expecting this to take 6 hours because the assignment was an old test I wanted to go over which was to administered in one hour, but I do understand the extra time it takes to explain, however I do not think it takes 5 additional hours to explain. I would not have pursued this service knowing the cost of it due to me being a college student and $350 is a lot of dollars for one assignment. In the future I recommend Brian disclosing what his course of action should be.
- Ross T. from State College, PA

Brian is very patient, and no matter how many times I need him to explain something to me, he tries to find a way that matches my learning style. If he's explained a concept to me three different ways and I still don't understand then he finds a fourth way. I really appreciate patience in a tutor!

Brian broke down what seemed to be a very complicated statistics course into something that I could understand a whole lot better. He stayed on top of every tutor lesson we had scheduled and made sure I was following along every step of the way. He asked me questions to make sure I was grasping what was being taught and stayed patient through my uncertainties. He?s the best, I highly recommend him!

Thank you Brian. You helped me with the hardest class for the entire Economics degree, Econometrics. You were available when I needed to schedule to meet online and you were able to not only help me with understanding the calculations, but also always answered my questions about STATA. I felt desperate at first with needing help, but you helped make me feel more comfortable and capable. You were patient even when I asked the same question twice or asked you to explain something in a different way. Thank you, again. I enjoyed working with you. -Eric (Economist Graduate from Pennsylvania State University)
