I love learning. As a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, I know that opportunity and success looks an awful lot like hard work paying off. As the founding tutor for the Biology Lab and tutoring program and serving several semesters in the Nursing Program's student learning lab at Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University), I have had the extreme pleasure of helping thousands of students achieve their scholastic goals, realize their own potential, and take great joy in seeing t...
She taught me some pathophysiology questions I had. She definitely knows her stuff! She was recommended to me from someone off facebook that I am in a nursing group with.
- Jaclyn A. from Denver, CO
Drop the Mic! My daughter is smiling now! She says she LOVES Ms. Rebecca because she is funny, engaging, enthusiastic, encouraging and breaks Biology down so that it is understandable and relates to real life. Rebecca also encourages her and tells her she can so now she believes it which is building her confidence. My child is FINAlLY getting it!!! Rebecca is a must-have tutor! She is amazing!
- Ottrell E. from Atlanta, GA
Rebecca is awesome. She takes her time with you and explains material very well! I highly recommend her. I always leave a session feeling very confident with the material.
- Samantha R. from Charlotte, NC
Rebecca provided incredibly thorough explanations to concepts I was having difficulty understanding. She provided analogies to make difficult microbiology concepts more simplified and really helped to have a deeper understanding of the microbiology material we covered!
- Chelsea W. from Philadelphia, PA
Excellent teacher and knowledgeable. I?m very excited for our future meetings. I like the fact that she?s willing to work with students and put things in a better perspective and understanding
- Lashonda R. from Opa Locka, FL
Rebecca exudes confidence and happiness through her personality while on video chat and through messaging. She has been very accommodating and helpful. I have never done an online tutoring session as I?ve always been skeptical, but I am so happy I did. She seems very well rounded, educated, and easygoing. Can?t wait for more sessions!
- Bryce E. from Temperance, MI
You can tell Rebecca loves what she teaches, and it shows in how knowledgeable she is! Her passion while explaining topics really makes studying less of a chore.
- Caroline S. from Long Beach, CA
Rebecca went through with me the pathophysiology of the cardiac and respiratory systems. I very much enjoy the diagrams, analogies, and clinical examples she uses to enhance the learning process. Her willingness to break things down and discuss questions (even ones that I myself was ashamed to admit to forgetting as a practicing provider) was absolutely helpful in accomplishing a solid session. Also as a first time user, she was very helpful in explaining Wyzant and showing how we could make the most of our time. I've definitely recommended her as a resource to my study group.
- Alexa D. from New York, NY
Excellent! Great. She is doing an awesome job! Keep up the enthusiasm and excellent presentation of materials and subject matter.
- Elaine G. from Cedar Rapids, IA
Rebecca had alternative explanations/examples for material and had a positive attitude and good sense of humor. Looking forward to covering more material learning quiz and exam taking skills.
- Lorie P. from New York, NY
Rebecca has been an amazing tutor for my advanced patho/physiology class. She is so patient and breaks things down to easily understand. I received a 69 on my first exam (without a tutor) and then got Rebecca. My last two exams I?ve achieved a B+! Needless to say, she helped immensely!
- Laura B. from Washington, DC
Rebecca helped me work through course objectives and held me accountable for talking through the material. She has a wealth of knowledge to share. She helps me visualize the concepts.
- Pam L. from Washington, DC
Rebecca is patient and filled in the gaps in my learning as we progressed through the cardiac system. I would highly recommend her to other students struggling with advanced pathophysiology.
- Carrie T. from Washington, DC
Rebecca helped me through the hardest parts of my national boards exams. She helped me see things more clearly and really lock in the info I already had learned. She allows you to set the pace and is always prepared for each session.
- Jonathon N. from Fort Myers, FL
Words cannot describe the overall experience I have had with Rebecca thus far. I am a senior nursing student approaching my last semester and I am confident in saying that Rebecca has changed my nursing school experience. To start she is extremely wonderful and spectacular in the ways that she supports you. Regardless of my progress or status in my classes, Rebecca offers encouraging words and support from session to session. I have never had a tutor that I felt truly, truly cared about your outcome in your life as well as school career. She is extremely knowledgeable in the information that she provides. I feel that Rebecca preps for every single session, always having charts and information readily available to send and share with my to amplify my learning experience. She knows when to add in more information and she knows when to step back and let me try and work through a thought process. When she corrects anything I say it is reassuring and informative at the same time. On top of all of that greatness, I feel that she has earthly knowledge, real world experience, as well as textbook information that she combines to make sure that you as the student see the main points as well as the overall picture. Lastly, Rebecca is a saving grace to us students and this is one of the main reasons why EVERYONE should at least try out a session with Rebecca. She sets aside family time and her personal life to always be flexible for your study sessions and even individual questions throughout the week. I started sessions with her at the beginning of my last year of nursing school when I was starting to feel tired and down on myself. With the little time I spent with her from week to week, I felt that I was always gaining a better grasp on my knowledge and owning the learning experiences that I had under my belt.

We reached out to Rebecca for additional help with my son?s microbiology lectures. She has been nothing but supportive and understanding and have been flexible and accommodating with the lessons, especially given we were already towards the end of the semester. Rebecca has helped my son get a deeper understanding of the material and have been a solid sounding board for the enormous amount of material covered. With finals around the corner, my son appreciates Rebecca?s sessions and feels better knowing she is available to him even for last minute questions. She makes the time as she truly cares about the students she is helping.
- Lisa T. from Trenton, NJ
Rebecca really helped me study for my Hesi A2 test. She was super cooperative and really was there to help me and encouraged me through the whole studying process. She knew so much and had no issue with any subject matter I brought up. She helped explain my questions and gave me alot of practice problems. She also helped give me some better studying techniques. Amazing tutor and great person overall! I will be calling on her again in the Future!!
- Jami F. from Willowbrook, IL
Rebecca is open to all questions and allows the student to guide the discussion. She uses a great deal of every day examples that help solidify the material.

Truthfully, I don?t even know where to begin with regards to introducing just how much I owe this human. In June of 2016 I was admitted into a Somatic Counseling Master?s program, on the condition that I pass Anataomy/Kinesthesiology (as mandated by the American Dance Therapy Association). After speaking with the program directors it was suggested to me that I enroll in the Brigham Young University online Anatomy course; I was asked to complete the course or I could not enter the program. Had I known that I had made the awful decision to register for a course intended to be self-paced and an estimated time completion of a year and a half from the start date, rest assured this would have been amended quickly. Unfortunately the course had been paid for already, and I naturally, was stuck dealing with the consequences. I came across Rebecca when I determined that I needed a tutor to attain a year and a half?s worth of anatomy material in three months time. When I conveyed this plan to Rebecca I was not met with laughter or even a suggestion to put off grad school (a rhetoric I?d heard from most everyone I spoke to about my plan). As crazy as it may sound, Rebecca went all-the-way, fully into the experience with me. To help you create a picture in your head of how this looked, Rebecca and I spent a minimum of an hour and a half per day, literally. Rebecca?s job title did not mandate that she LITERALLY teach me the material; and yet, she did. A highly qualified, fiercely intelligent and driven woman, Rebecca took on the role of not only my tutor but my teacher, my support system and advocate. At times, I will humbly state that I leaned on her for emotional support in a way that I have never experienced prior to our tutoring sessions. Hell, sometime in the third month I?m fairly certain I spent an hour of our session just crying. While this may sound shocking, like, ?Why would she pay to cry? This isn?t therapy, I?m looking for a tutor?, I know feasibly, that if Rebecca had not been able to fascinate this variety of learning for me, I would have probably failed the course and therefore, not have been admitted into my program. Yes, I did the work. No, Rebecca did not take the exams for me. Yes, expectations and boundaries were put in place and emphasized throughout our entire time working together. However, what makes Rebecca so truly, unique as a tutor is her authentic desire to fascilitate every facet in which you could process new material (i.e. visual aids, verbal dissections, auditory material, cognitive analysis, etc.). In my 6+ years of higher education I have not met someone so dedicated to matching my learning style as Rebecca. If you have a tangible goal surrounding attaining scientific knowledge (and perhaps in a particularly timely fashion), there really is no better tutor for you than Rebecca. I can saw with 100% sincerity that if it were not for Rebecca?s assistance throughout the summer of 2016, there would be no chance of my being currently be enrolled in a Master?s level program.
- Sabrina L. from Richmond, VA
Rebecca is an excellent tutor. After one lesson with her I feel comfortable and more confident with material that I had been struggling with for four weeks. She makes excellent examples, is easy to understand, and is very knowledgeable. Biology/Botany is not easy to condense, but she did an excellent job and gave a lot of helpful tips.
